Greetings to the Allen County Chapter members of ISTA-Retired. This has certainly been an unusual several months to say the least. Your officers hope that each of you is well and bearing up under the constraints of the pandemic. Although the future is still uncertain, we have decided to tentatively schedule programs beginning in January with the understanding that these might have to change depending upon the situation at the time. We have also decided that we will suspend any chapter dues for the rest of the year.

Speaker: Cindy Theiss, presenting a video on Wives of One Term Presidents
Thursday, May 13, 2021 Noon at Salvatori’s, 10337 Illinois Road
Speaker: David Dew, presenting one of his wonderful talks on an historic individual.
Also, since ISTA has had to hold all of its meetings and conferences virtually since March, ISTA-Retired has not been able to collect funds for its scholarship. If you are able to contribute to this wonderful cause, please send a check to Jennifer Clutter, ISTA Center, Suite 900,150 West Market Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204-2875. Make the check out to ISTA-Retired and in the memo line, put the Scholarship fund. Jennifer is the CFO of ISTA and is the only person who comes into the office.
In addition, funds are always needed for the NEA Fund For Children and Public Education as well as I-PACE, the ISTA political action fund. Checks may be made out to either of these groups and sent to the address in the preceding paragraph.
